  • 1 Jun 1868: SMALL STATIONS for SALE, near Berwick and Pakenham, about 30 Miles only from Town, POWERS, RUTHERFORD, and CO. have received instructions to SELL The MOUNT MISERY and MOUNT PLEASANT RUNS,
    which adjoin each other, and are situate near to Berwick and Pakenham, and bounded by the Cardinia and Tumut Creeks.
    The area of the runs is about 8000 acres, with unlimited back country, and 2000 head of cattle can be depastured with ease.
    The stock now on the runs consists of about 1000 sheep, of mixed sexes und ages ; there are also three huts, about 300 new hurdles, &c.
    Assessment very light.9

    Clearing Sale of Dairy Cattle, Horses, Farm Implements, Furniture and Sundries, at Mark Rice's Farm, Packenham.
    M'CULLOCH, CAMPBELL and Co. are instructed by Mr. Rice to effect a clearing sale of the whole of the stock now on the farm.
