Newspaper-Articles

  • 2 Aug 1893: Much sympathy is felt for Mr. Rees, the stationmaster at Beaconsfield, whose little son (aged about ten years) died on Sunday morning. The immediate cause of death seems to be a fall from the platform which he sustained whilst playing with a companion on the station premises. He was, however, said to be suffering from an illness at the time of the mishap, which may perhaps have contributed to complicate matters, and thus tend towards the fatal, result. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon.5
